Or is that like sooo 1995? Cuz I went rollerblading today & it was fun. It was a beautiful day & my legs were a tad sore from climbing to the top of Piestewa Peak yesterday, so i dug out my rollerblades. & found my favorite pair of socks stuffed inside. wooohoo! & eww. Was gonna take the doggy, but couldn't figure out how to get myself down the rocky driveway to the sidewalk while keeping brody under control. So I hobbled out on the grass & went by myself. It was nice :)
So, yup, climbed a big mountain yesterday with Chris & Jessie & about 800 million other people. Something's just not right about traffic jams while hiking, ya know? It was really hard. But still lots 'o fun. Jessie & I 'bout died, but we made it to the top. Where Chris was waiting, not even out of breath. ;-) He can carry our stuff for us when we go to the Grand Canyon, then.
Had a nice Valentine's Day. Didn't go horsey riding, but had a good day with Jim. Even got to take a nap on the hammock cuz it was so gorgeous out. Dad & Jenny came buy & brought some beautiful flowers, which was a cool surprise. I actually made steak for dinner (well, Jim helped cuz, eww, like I would touch raw steak). But I did everything else & it turned out really really yummy & I set the table all cool & it was fun. Jim got me a couple dvd's ... “Identity” and “Whale Rider.” He remembered that I love Whale Rider (even if he couldn't remember the name) and then he & Chris watched it with me, and they both liked it, too. Then yesterday I watched the whole movie with the director's commentary, which was awesome. That's my favorite things about dvds. I looove hearing the directors & actors & stuff talk about the movie itself and the process and thoughts that went into it.
Didn't have to work today because it's President's Day. yay for presidents.
Hmm, I'm sure there's more interesting stuff to say. But I'm gonna go watch the news instead. Adios!
