We bought new art for our big expanses of brown & orange walls. They're not hanging yet, but we love them! We got them at Cost Plus, and found some other fun stuff, too. I heart that store.
I found pictures of the paintings online, but they don't really look like they do in real life. I'll put up pics of them hung sometime. But for now, here ya go:
This one is for the living room. It's a stretched canvas w/o a frame, and it just pops against the brown wall. I love it!
And here's the other one, which we bought to hang on an orange dining room wall- for the opposite reason of the bright flowery painting. We wanted something to calm down the orange a bit. Some of the light streaks of color in this painting are the exact orange of the walls. It's so perfect!
These pictures really don't do justice to the paintings. Sigh, oh well. You'll just have to come visit to see for yourself!
