We had some friends over last night for pizza & poker. (Shibley came down from Portland & took all our money)
Jim suggested I make chocolate chip cookies for the occassion. But some of our guests (you know who you are!) are our fellow ice cream/gellato/Blizzard addicts, so ice cream seemed a more appropriate treat.
I called my friend Kristin and asked her about a recipe she had told me about. She read it to me (with some editorial comments) over the phone, and I gave it a go.
So our dessert last night? A fabulously tasty Homemade Orange Sorbet. It was so yummy! I'm incredibly impressed. Go me. :-)
