This weekend is Salem Bike Club's annual Monster Cookie metric century bike ride (65ish miles). Jim & I are using the occassion to try something new & potentially wonderful, or potentially horrifying:

Our friends are loaning us one of their tandem bikes, and we're going to attempt to ride it. And we're going to try not to fall over, and not to get aggravated, and not to go 100 mph down hills. Those are my goals, anyway. :-)
