Hi! We made it to Rachel's today about 4. We had some minor hiccups along the way, but they all contributed to an exciting adventure, so it was ok. At first the radio in Chris's car stopped working, but he got under the hood and in the back seat and in the trunk & fixed it all up. Not good as new, but better than silence for 7 hours :)
Just went to lunch/dinner at a Mexican restaurant & went to a bike shop to buy some parts for rachel's bike. Now chris is fixing up her bike for her. What a nice guy. We went to Borders to buy the new Rufus CD, but they only had 1 left! So Rachel bought it, and I'll hopefully be able to buy one tomorrow at his performance. Yay!
Rachel's upstairs neighbor has really loud bumping music and it's extremely annoying. She's talked with him about it before, but he obviously doesn't care. Frustrating. I don't miss living in my old apartment!
It's very muggy/foggy weird here. When we arrived at Rachel's, she walked out & said “Welcome to Seattle!” because that's what it feels like! It's a nice change from 105, tho.
