Hey! It's been nearly 2 months since I last blogged! Know what takes up lots of free time? Puppies.
Specifically, my puppy.... speaking of, where did he go? Be right back.... Oh, he was on the stair landing eating a piece of clothing.
Today is his first full day without wearing a lampshade on his head. He had his little puppy surgery last week and was just fine. Last Wednesday he weighed 43 pounds. We believe that he's just about 6 months old right now. Awww, so cute.
So, in the past several months, we've kept busy! Jim got a motorcycle and a new job. Joe visited. Mom visited. Rachel visited. Chester's little friend Pippen visited.

We've also had three editions of HouseClub!
First was at Beth & Michael's house, painting their walls yellow and a cool orangey red color. This is Adam and Melissa:
Then was Adam & Melissa's house, where we ripped out a ton of plants and weeds and dirts on an unused strip by their driveway:
Then was our house, where we cleaned up the walls & put a skim coat of plaster on them. Now Jim & I just have to do a quick smoothing, using a wet rag (thanks, mom!) and a sanding block on tough parts:
While we were working downstairs, Mom was upstairs spiffing up the attic into a quilting room for me. It's awesome! Oh, I'm taking a quilting class. It's surprisingly fun.
That's basically what I've been up to. Running a little. Trying to ride my bike a lot. Cursing the continuing rain. Not blogging.
