Today was our second wedding anniversary! It doesn't seem like the wedding was that long ago...
Kind of a random day. Went to pottery, my last class, tho the teacher forgot about it. Threw a big vase, which, um, turned into a small bowl-type thing. Got a pretty funky necklace/earrings from Jim. Had lunch at the little Wild Pear downtown. We both had yummy ham & bri sandwiches & their superduper ice tea. Stopped at a gallery & saw a cool installation by my pottery teacher. Finished Jane Eyre. Walked the poochie. Went to a volunteer-appreciation dinner thing for the tv station- fried chicken & beans & cornbread-ish, so I didn't eat much. Sat in the coolest tree. Hit balls in a batting cage for the first time. That was kind of fun. Went to the wine bar, but they kicked us out cuz they were closing. Went to the cake shop instead & ate cake for dinner :-) Rented 'Anchorman' and laughed myself silly. Was a fun day :)
Bought a bunch of stuff to make sushi yesterday, but haven't done it yet. Should be fun when we do, tho. Found some awesome candlestick holders at kmart (yay MarthaStewart!).
Was in Phx last week, had a good, warm time. My little bro is all graduated 'n stuff. we're all dolts now. While we were gone, Brody escaped the friend's yard who he was staying with. He showed up on our street, and one of my neighbors put him into our yard. Where he promptly slithered beneath the fence & wound up back at the friend's house. What a goofdog.
Rachel's coming to visit in July. Oh, and Chris in a week. Found out another friend- Christen McCurdy- lives in Portland. fun! Hopefully going to see Rufus & the Bens concert with Jordan et al.
