Tonight I'm going with friends to see “Dr. Strangelove” on the big screen. I've never seen the film, but The Historic Elsinore Theatre shows old movies every Wednesday night, which is cool. This summer there's a Summer of Love theme among a lot of the arts organizations in town, so the movies this summer are all from the '60s. Tonight they're also showing “Easy Rider,” but my friends have seen it & didn't like it, so I don't think we'll stay for that. The Elsinore is where I saw “Gone With the Wind” a couple of years ago when Jodie was in town.
My shoe came apart today as I was walkin in it. Sigh. There's an elastic strap across the top that mysteriously came unraveled. I didn't have to look very hard to see puppy teeth marks, tho.
Jim is going to Idaho next week. Boooo. But Jessi is coming to Salem for a few days. Yaaaay!
